NATOA, along with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the North Dakota County Cable Communications Commission (NDC4), have filed a lawsuit challenging the FCC’s recent decision to impose a nationwide finding of effective competition. The Commission’s overarching action, which flew in the face of a congressional directive to simply streamline the effective competition process for small cable providers, will result in higher consumer prices and may result in the removal of PEG and local broadcast channels from the basic tier of service. A copy of the Petition for Review can be found HERE. We would like to thank NATOA’s President-elect Jodie Miller and Brian Grogan for their generous assistance and advise. Click HERE to read more.
